I am an improv piano composer/player. I want to find a good cellist interested in collaborating on some things I have been working on. I am constructing song cycles based on early memories and daydreams. I need a cello specifically for "Winter Songs" (tentative title). This work will be based on my memories and thoughts on winter with input from you (you add some of your own memories). Stylistically, I fall somewhere between new age, jazz and avant garde. I am not a technically-skilled player. I am self-taught. I play my material only. I am however an excellent improvisor. This collaboration will pay based on % of revenue from CD sales and performances. It will also be a chance to record (I am also a classical engineer).
