This is a very fun script and any role would be great for an actor's reel.

Plot: A young gay man is pressured into coming out to his histrionic mother.

ROLES:

RAFE--Self-conscious and serious, being pressured into coming out
-Male
-18 to 24 years old
-GAY (or straight, but MUST be comfortable kissing another man; there is a kiss in the script)
-Caucasian
-J. Crew sense of style

FRANKIE--Impulsive and carefree, he's the one doing the pressuring
-Male
-18 to 24 years old
-Must be comfortable kissing another man
-Latin American or Asian
-Hipster

REVA--A loving Queens-born mother, who has no idea her son is gay. Very over-dramatic.
-Female
-35 to 50 years old
-Caucasian

Auditions locations: Hunter College, Thomas Hunter Building room 301 (third floor) Lexington Avenue entrance between 68th and 69th streets. Take 6 train to 68th street-Hunter College or F train to 63rd street-Lexington Ave.

The tentative sole shooting date is scheduled for Saturday, November 7th in Jersey City, NJ.
