The directors and producers of the feature film TURNING GREEN, starring Timothy Hutton, Alessandro Nivola and Colm Meaney are looking for a cool, attractive woman who would be interested in dressing up as a 70s style Playboy-type model and handing out promotional post cards in downtown New York. Ideally, we're looking for someone who would do it topless, but we're open to suggestions, perhaps a green bikini or something to gain attention, rather than going the traditional route of just dropping off posters at coffee shops. The person we're looking for needs to be very outgoing, cute, able to have fun with it - we're not looking for slutty and overtly-sexual, but more sweet and kind of innocent. The gig would be for a day (possibly two) where you would walk around the East/West Village and SoHo for 5 hours or so, perhaps into a few Irish pubs and basically meet and greet people and tell them to go check out the movie.
The film is opening in NY on November 13 and in LA on November 6. Here is a quick synopsis of the film:
Sent to live with his aunts in Ireland, sex-obsessed 16-year-old James (Donal Gallery) goes to work for a bookie (Alessandro Nivola), trying to raise enough cash to return to the States. But when he discovers nude magazines on a trip to London, James dreams up a better business plan. Back in Ireland, the porn-peddling entrepreneur finds his adult contraband in high demand. Colm Meaney and Timothy Hutton co-star in this dark comedy set in 1979.
