Casting for “Spin the Bottle”

We are looking for non-union actors to be in a quick in-studio shoot for a student film. The shoot should not take more than 3 hours and will be shot in one day.

“Spin the Bottle” is a quirky short comedy about 8 bored young adults who decide to play spin the bottle. When it’s Kate’s turn, she must decide whether she disappoints her friends and bails or if she goes through with the gross task of kissing a guy with a booger in his nose.

Cast of Characters

Kate, 19-22, is very attractive but a bit shy. She dresses in modest but flattering clothes, nothing extravagant but it suits her almost mousy features.

Jackie, 22-25, is also attractive and full of life. She always demands attention and dresses very trendy, hipster rocker. She dresses in darker, more revealing clothing.

Sarah, 23-25, is bubbly and fun. She doesn’t care much about her appearance but doesn’t look shabby either.

Gina, 19-22, is sort of a tomboy but doesn’t dress like one, though she dresses very modestly. She is slender. Although her personality is tomboyish, she still has a feminine feel to her.

Mark, 21-23, is an outgoing, attractive guy with an average build. He looks and dresses like a true urbanite, quite trendy.

Jason, 21-23, has a muscular/athletic build and dresses like a jock/prep. He also talks like he’s lived in Long Island all his life.

Dave, 22-25, is burly and large with some muscle and is a somewhat obnoxious jock with a quick temper.

Brian, 20-23, is an average Joe with a quick wit. He is of average build and has an intelligent look to him. He also talks and dresses like an urbanite, but it’s more subdued, almost as if his look is effortless.

-This is a student film.
-Auditions will be held November 6th, 12-5pm. Please email for more information.

-Will be shot on November 18th in Manhattan.
-This is a non-union, non-pay gig.
-Refreshments and food will be provided.
