Hello to all of you (Mykkal, and Guyanese),
Thank you for the info...b/c my info./resume' and pics are on several sites and I never really know what's legit and what's not. I was actually scammed out of some money to sign up with a so called agent, in my area around the beginning of Dec. last year. I started working on movies Aug. 2nd last year and still trying my best to learn the ropes with everything, and now I know a great deal more, and not to just trust anyone, and not gi give the little money I have, up front to anyone...it's such ashame on how many people are lying to people like us, out there! I haven't made any mistakes like that again yet, and hopefully we'll never have to go through that again, if I can help it. I was told by a couple of people, that they received calls from that agency that took my money and ran, but have heard more bad things about them, from others that never heard anything and got ripped off. I am VERY new to this board, and am a member of a few boards, and try to check them out at least two-three times every couple of weeks (sometimes more often, just depends), but I have it where I can get emails sent to me, and that helps out a great deal, if I'm not able to check things out right away. I live in Louisiana and I'm a little over an hour, sometimes a bit longer...just depending on traffic, from New Orleans. Well, at least that's how it was before Katrina hit...haven't been out that way since Katrina hit...but it used to take me less than an hour to get to Baton Rouge and now it takes 2 HOURS sometimes...it's crazy! I finally felt what it was like to drive out there, and have it feel like I was in Metairie/New Orleans...it took me 2 hours to get to an exit when it used to take 35 minutes-quite a change for many of us!  I read that the main office or whatever, for this website/board is in Georgia...but still signed up, a few weeks ago b/c it seemed like a helpful board of people (nice also!). I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to find any type of work, in my state that I may be eligible for, but you never know!  I want to thank ya'll again, and have a nice rest of the weekend...hope everyone had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!!! *Best wishes with everything*
