Does anyone have any experience with this site? For $150./yr. they say:

"You have been APPROVED after a long selection process and NOW it is a time to do it!
After your REGISTRATION there will be NO ADDITIONAL charges for you to pay.
You will be given your own online BOOKING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM through which you shall receive a FREE Auditions and BOOKING requests and many more features. From time to time you may receive freebies and discounts from our participating sponsors. Our system will simply help you to participate in Entertainment, Advertising and Event Industry.

You will be able to choose which auditions or booking request you would like to participate in, without having to make any further financial commitment !.

Most importantly! NO AGENCY FEES or COMMISSIONS! We will NOT deduct agency FEE or COMMISSIONS from your earnings, even though this practice is a standard in this industry. This alone could mean savings of thousands of dollars per year for you!"

None really except for a few castings forwarded to me. Seems like thier domain is misleading. Don't pay for castings dude. You can get them here and other places for free.

Just focus on growning your talent and getting an agent. Then you can get into the closed casting stuff.

well, I just registered with carsforfilm.com this past week, however, they haven't returned my email yet... probably they do not like me... :?: I already wrote back to toospoiled and instantcast they want they are asking (payment) is against the law because NO modeling agency is required payment until the talent gets paid.

surprised the last one didn't write back with a comment of her own, probably she knows how true.

get to know your state law about modeling and casting agencies, i learned recently in the state of florida, it is against the law charging a talent for services, unless going to an academic LICENSED school - big difference.

I screen heavily who I encounter, then if they continue to bug me with their emails, i just block them & for calls I am capable of rerouting their calls back to their calling number (in which case is usually their phone number, not an actual phone).

good luck all!
