Hush Publications - Fresh Faces Magazine

Just wondering if anyone has heard of Fresh Faces Magazine? I emailed my pics in to them and I was "chosen" to have my picture put in their book but I have to pay a $75 fee for this. The magazine suppose to be in all major cities but I can't find anything about it online. I can't even find Hush Publications. I think this is a scam. On their website they have a posting talking about the last photoshoot and they ask for $275 for that fee to be put in the book. I haven't sent them anything.

Unless you're paying for an article to be ran there is no reason for any magazine to charge you for anything. I'd leave this one alone. I don't know what their angle is but it's at best bad buisness practice.

Hi Dee,

I got the same message as well--they wanted my 5 year-old in their "Cute Babies and Kids" edition. They initially wanted $75,but I couldn't schedule a time for her to meet with them,so I waited about a month then they came back with a $295 fee,so I passed;then I got "invited" to a "launch" party for the magazine where they took her picture and mine and asked for another "fee",and I politely declined again,so I wouldn't do it and be suspicious as well.
