You don't need a manager. As his parent, YOU are his manager. Obtain a good commercial agent. For modeling, remember that clients hire talent, not photographers. Online, the weekend warriors with their cameras pay models to pose. In the non Internet world, photographers are paid to shoot models by the clients and aren't hiring models from their own pockets.
Forget about all those "get famous quick" schemes... the websites and conventions. A good agent is all you need to feel secure about involving your kids in the industry. More kids are hurt by things like MySpace
