Any information about this company? They asked for $60 dollars up front for a "background check"

May want to check your local better buisness bureau. To be honest a background check costs 10-25.00 depending on how throrough it is. Most likely they are trying to make money off it it some.

If a company is scamming they try to operate outside of the major metro areas like where you are. This way they know they have a better chance of getting away with thier "scam". I can't speak for this company but I'll look into it some.

Don't do it, its a scam. They send you all of these castings but its so funny how you never get a reply back from any of them. They had me send in $50, I guess the price has gone up and I never heard anything from them again. I even tried calling Chico Stevens myself and couldn't get in touch with him.

I don't understand why they would need to do a background check on a model. It's not like you're going to be working on some Defense Department weapon system or something. Can anybody explain why such a check would ever be needed?
