Hi,

Well I got a call from the urban jeans casting call and it was with ( goseegifts.com ). Everything seemed ok until I got an email that said:

The Activation Process:
You must first access our website, the URL of which is: www.goseegifts.com, then click the "Daily Castings" tab located along the top Main Menu; click the tab that reads: "View Sample & Subscribe" and immediately begin the registration process. The sooner you register and notify us of the completion of these final steps, the sooner we may begin sending you exclusive Daily Castings directly to your email inbox, which you may begin applying for at once. The fee for this service is only $14.95 per month.

Thats fishy... ???

I actually thought about it based on the first couple of replies. I didnt act on it though. I am not going to at all now... Nope lol

I havent paid for the monthly castings yet, and i dont think i will...theres alot of neg responses rather then positive ones and thats good enough for me to say NO lol

I signed up for the monthly subscriptiona and evryday I recieve alist of 7-10 castings. The info includes the project name, address to mail photos to, contact name, description of exactly what the casting directions are looking for. My comp cards will be ready tomoorw and as soon as I get them I will be sending them off. I think it's legit

In your opinion is it worth it? Different companies have different ways of doing buisnes. I'm not in anyways saying that they are a fraud. Even MMT has to make money to survive.

It seems like maybe some of the represenatives for this company have approached some people the wrong way while approaching others in a good way.

In the end what really matters is if their service is worth your time. Are the castings beneficial?

A lot of the casting that this company sends you info for you can get it on Craig's list. A while back they had a casting for Lipton Tea but of course I couldn't get contact info unless I joined so I decided to look on craiglist and there it was contact info and all. My advise would be not to sign up with them. I did it a year or so ago and I just got tired of them filling my email with casting that were either out dated or just didn't fit my profile. Why pay for that every month? It is cheaper to do the searching yourself. Anyone who has signed up in a few months after you don't get any jobs you'll cancel.
