Once I realized they were NOT auditioning people for what they advertised for, I did a google search on them.

The truth has finally hit the light. I am a professional Photographer who worked with this company. I didn't know much about them, because I had just moved to ATL when they contacted me. I found out after wasting a month of time, that they are fake. Glad the truth is coming out.
They (meaning the 2 owners, Rickey Bowens and Michael Walker) are actually smart business men, but they have the wrong agenda. Their company is B & W Consulting (i.e.,
www.BandWconsulting.com, the initials of their last names) which doesn't have anything to do with the modeling/fashion/entertainment industry. Some how, One day they decided to convert into this industry. Since then, they have been going at it the wrong way, and that's why they make promises they can't keep. They were originally located in Conyers, but the scam couldn't work there, because it was too far to travel for most. So they moved to the "Pinnacle Building" around the summer 2006 sometime.
If anyone needs to speak to me in reference to this company, please do not hesitate to contact me. I'm legit, so I'm not afraid of any back-lash.
Be careful, Be smart and Be professional and they won't get you!!!

Better known as the PINNCALE BUILDING. Ok I don't normally go through this much trouble to post a complaint about a company, but they pissed me off. I did my research and found that there are several complaints about their so called LEGIT COMPANY. This was on the BBB, they have been band from craigslist before, now they think they have become clever, haha..posting new tags PROMO MODELS NEEDED ASAP,PLUS SIZE MODELS NEEDED, ETC... Rather than promotional model this type of modeling is often referred to as promo girl or promo model.
Promotional modeling covers a wide range of work for models including being on stands at exhibitions, handing out leaflets, or even being a 'GridGirl' which is where you are booked at car or bike races.
By now you should have realized that good looks are essential, however not the same kind of looks as for fashion modeling.
The needs of clients that book models for this kind of work are completely different from a magazine client for example that looks good in a beauty advertorial. Promo girls must be able to look good for long days without the help of makeup artists and retouching!
A promotional model must be almost 'conventionally' good looking, i.e. the general public would consider the promo girl to be attractive or even gorgeous as opposed to the looks of some fashion models which can be more of an acquired taste and sometimes downright weird!

So this is some helpful advice from someone who gives a dayum. Please do you homework. Learn about the predators that pray on the young and uneducated. Bottom line is, know the flags ,, Never pay Money up front, Always ask for references, and What models have they helped become successful in this industry? And the most important question of them all ARE YOU A MEMEBER OF THE BBB- Better Business Bureau. If not give them the finger an walk away.. well don't really do that.. not tryin to condone bad behavior...LOL, say hell naw to yaself an get the hell out of kansas. Ok as you can see hell has no fury like a woman scorn!
