I think the site you are talking about is Models.com. I could be wrong. They are still around but they've changed their practices now since becoming a free site. So they're going through growing pains right now. lol.

And, then there is Modelwire where agents and clients connect...but you may already know that.

I think that's a great idea. I'm looking for representation in other markets besides the local one (where I'm already represented) and such a database would be really helpful. I was looking at Models.com as well for that.

The thing about this site is it has the best light/heat ratio. The discussions are much more professionally focused.... It also has more real castings I think. MM sometimes seems too social and not enough professiona, although there are valuable characteristics to that site as well. As I mentioned, I've made some good connexions from there as well.

To Sarajoy: If you're talking about www.NYMMG.com, MMG is one of my agencies, and they are legit. They landed me a spread in Elle Magazine and plenty of film and television work.

About Model Mayhem: It's a wonderful site for networking...and it's definitely not all adult work. I have gotten paid fashion work and auditions from MM and there are plenty of world renowned fashion photographers who have pages on the site. Last week alone, I did great shoots with 3 MM photographers.

Model Mayhem is an incredible site for hooking up with other people looking to TFP/TFCD... I've gotten two shoots, one with MUA and photographer where we all benefitted with beautiful shots. There are some creeps there, but nothing common sense won't filter out.
